Are all plans flexible?
Yes. All plans are pay-as-you-go so you can add and remove members (Bit.dev users added as members to your organization) from your organization at any moment. This model helps you fit your Bit plan to your team’s needs, and make sure you can scale your work exactly according to your needs. You can learn more here.
Does Bit.dev provide engineering-level support?
Yes. All team and business accounts receive support from our highly-experienced engineering and tech product team. Response-time guarantee might be different between plans, so it’s advised to choose the right plan for your needs. All free community accounts are given the best support possible without a response-time guarantee, by the Bit.dev team itself and by the Bit.dev community.
What about availability and security?
Bit.dev is hosted in a multi-zone architecture. This is to make sure that if there's an outage in a region, all services and data will still be available for all accounts. We monitor our servers 24/7. All data written to Bit.dev is duplicated and replicated across multiple servers to ensure site reliability in case of data outage. Can I get a plan tailored for my organization’s specific needs?
If your organization has specific needs that require customization to your plan, feel free to reach out and describe your needs. We will do our best to accommodate your requirements and find the best solution for your organization.
Do I need to upgrade my organization’s plan to host private components?
Yes. Both team and business plans unlock the hosting of private components for your Bit.dev organization. There is no difference in the amount of components or collections that can be hosted between the plans. However, there are other differences such as support response-time assurance, Uptime SLA and resources dedicated to running your components through CI.
How is component CI different between plans?
Every component exported to Bit.dev runs through an isolated and dedicated CI process in the cloud, to help ensure the component is standalone useful. While we aim to give the best experience to the entire Bit.dev community, upgrading your organization to team plan will give your components priority in the CI pipeline, and upgrading your organization to business plan will ensure resources dedicated to running your components through CI.
Do I need an organization account to upgrade my plan?
Yes. Both team and business plans require an organization account to upgrade. If you already have an account, you can upgrade your plan by selecting your plan and organization via the top of this page, or by visiting your organization’s settings.
How is Billing calculated?
Your subscription is charged monthly, while each charge is billed for the following month (except for 1st billing). The monthly subscription fee is calculated based on the number of members in your organization, multiplied by the plan’s fixed price. Learn more here.
